Training update 8th April 2022 - 51 days to go!

The lockdown cyclist

Yes, at the start of lockdown I became one of those rather annoying road users on two wheels (fully clad in lycra) buzzing around the country lanes! 🚴🏻‍♂️. Who’d have thought! 🤣

Now, nearly two years on and having traveled well over 8,500km and climbed around 76,000m (oh, and lost about 16kg in the process) it’s fair to say that I’ve kinda taken to it. 

So now I’m looking for that next challenge and because I haven’t actually completed a 100 mile ride yet the ‘RideLondon - Essex 100’ seemed like a great place to start.

To help motivate me and keep me on track I have decided to raise money for The London’s Air Ambulance Charity along the way. So, if you are able, I would be very grateful if you could support me in my endeavour by way of a donation to this very worthy cause.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Your donation will help save more lives by keeping the helicopter in the air and the rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most. By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, London’s Air Ambulance Charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.
